The counting of votes in Civic elections is being done in Telangana today. In Telangana, voting was held for 120 municipalities and 9 municipal corporations on Wednesday, the results of which are coming today.
Admist tight security arrangements the counting of votes is being done. It is believed that the ruling TRS can perform well in the body elections. TRS also performed well in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections. According to election officials, counting of votes is being done at 134 centers. The counting of votes started from 8 am. The results of the election are expected to come by evening. According to the Election Officer, in case of similar votes, the winner will be announced according to the lottery system.
