In Gujarat the matter of vandalising the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi has come to light. In Amreli, Gujarat, unknown people completely broke Bapu's statue on Friday night.
This statue was situated near Harikrishna Sarovar. This statue was installed by Savajibhai Dholakia, a diamond merchant from Surat and PM Modi inaugurated this huge statue.
As soon as the information about the statute broken acme to light the police have registered a case against unknown people. The police have intensified to crackdown and nab the accused. Police say that the accused can be the same people who were not happy with the construction of the lake.
