The Supreme Court will be hearing the plea of Pawan Gupta convicted of Delhi's Nirbhaya gangrape murder case today. Pawan has thrown a new trumpcard to get pardon from hanging. Pawan had filed a petition which states that when the incident happened at that time he was a minor and because of that he can't be sentenced to death. The authorities didn't conducted bone test to ascertain his age.
Pawan also added that a stay order should be issued for February 1 and sent to Tihar Jail administration to stop his hanging from taking place on the said date. According to reports plea of Pawan will be heard by the bench of Justice R Bhanumathi, Justice Ashok Bhushan and AS Bopanna today.
