PM Modi Asked Mamta Banerjee To Come To Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on his two-day visit to West Bengal today, PM Modi met Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.  During the meeting, Mamta has said that CAA and NRC will not apply in Bengal.  We are against this, the government should consider implementing both laws.  

After this, PM Modi has responded to Mamata Banerjee and said that he has come to attend some other program, I do not want to talk on these two issues.  There will be talk on this issue in Delhi.  If you come to Delhi, we will talk right there.  PM Modi has asked Mamta Banerjee to come to Delhi.

PM Modi will rest night at Vellur Math tonight.  PM Modi is there to attend the occasion of the birth anniversary of Vellur Math Swami Vivekananda.  Earlier, when PM Modi reached Kolkata, the protesters shouted slogans of Go Back.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
