Today 71st Republic Day is being celebrated all over the country on the occasion of 26 January a special event was organized at the Rajpath of Delhi, the capital of the country, during which Indian military power, cultural programs and grand tableaux was displayed. As parade continued the world watched the strength of the Indian Army.
The Indian Army battle tank T90 Bhishma was the main attraction on Rajpath. K Vajra Tank was also introduced
On this auspicious occasion of Republic Day President of the country, Ram Nath Kovind, flagged off the program and he was saluted with 21 cannons by the army. After which the grand parade started
On the 71st Republic Day, the chief guest of the program was from Brazil President Jair Messius Bolsunaro.
16 states and 10 union territories participated on the occasion of Republic Day Some states, including Bengal and Kerala, did not participate in the parade.
