Sher Shah Poster Released On Siddharth's Birthday

Bollywood's famous actor Siddharth Malhotra is celebrating his 35th birthday with great pomp today.  His birthday has become even more special, because the posters of his upcoming film Sher Shah have been released on the occasion of his birthday.

 The poster of the film has been released by Dharma Proutions.  This film is being made under the banner of Karan Johar.  In this film, Siddharth is playing the role of Captain Vikram Batra.  Captain Vikram Batra was martyred during the Kargil War of 1999, taking on Pakistani intruders.  He is known as Sher Shah because of the versatility of Captain Vikram Batra.  Let me tell you that this film, being made under the banner of Dharma Production, will be released on July 3.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
