Three Terrorist Gunned Down In The Valley

Security forces have achieved a major success in Jammu and Kashmir.  Three militants have been killed by security forces near the CRPF post on Jammu-Srinagar highway.  

A young man has also been injured in a gunfight.  The terrorists were trying to sneak into the valley by hiding in the truck, but before that the security forces traced them.  A large quantity of weapons have been recovered from the spot.  Search operation is being conducted in the area.  There is a possibility of more terrorists in the area.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
