Honda has launched updated version of it's sedan amaze i.e Honda Amaze BS6. It has both petrol and diesel options. The car is priced between 6.10 lakh to 9.9 lakh.
This car is the first Honda car to get a BS6-compliant diesel engine.The 1.2 liter petrol version of this car is priced between Rs 6.09 lakh to 8.75 lakh, while the 1.5 liter diesel version is priced from Rs 7.55 lakh to 9.95 lakh. The output of this engine in the CVT automatic gearbox is 80hp power and 160Nm torque. The mileage of the BS6 diesel engine has been reduced by 2.7 km in the manual gearbox and 2.8 km per liter in the CVT gearbox compared to the BS4 version.
The Honda Amaze offers features such as LED position lamp, front fog lamp, rear combination lamp, power-folding ORVM with LED turn indicators, alloy wheels and shark fin antenna. The compact sedan offers many other features along with features such as a 7-inch digipad touchscreen infotainment system, multifunction steering wheel, and engine start / stop button. Apart from this, dual airbags, ABS, rear parking sensor and EBD are available in Amaze BS-6 as before.
Honda has not made any changes in the mechanical front nor has there been any change in the car's features except upgrading both engines to BS6.
