3 Storey Building Collapsed in Mohali, Many people trapped

A 3-storey building collapsed in Mohali in Punjab. According to the reports, 10-15 people are trapped inside. There was a private office in this building. The police-administration team has started the rescue operation. Two people have been evacuated and taken to the hospital. Some more people are feared trapped in the debris.

Police, fire brigade and Mohali district administration officials have reached the spot. Two mobile towers standing close to the building have also collapsed in the accident.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
