Delhi Elections 2020: Voter turnout 30.18 percentage till 3 pm

As the day is passing, the voting is picking pace in Delhi Elections. The voter turnout till 3 pm was recorded at 30.18 percentage. The fate of 672 candidates is now in the hands of people of Delhi. The campaign this year for Delhi elections was in full swing this. All the big faces of all political parties tried their best to win the trust of people. It will very interesting to see on 11th of February, whether these candidates or political leaders were able to win the trust of people or not.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
