Actress Poonam Pandey filed a Case Against Shilpa Shetty's husband

Actress Poonam Pandey has decided to move the Bombay High Court after the police refused to write an FIR against Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra. The whole affair started with a contract signed by Poonam Pandey with Armsprime Media in 2019. This company was about to make an app, and Poonam was going to get a fixed share of the profits.

According to Poonam, she had canceled the contract when she came to know that there was a difference in profit sharing. As soon as she came out of this contract, she started getting calls on her private number, in which different types of requests were made to her. Poonam told that she complained to the police but they refused to register a case against Raj Kundra.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
