Delhi Elections 2020: Voter Turnout 19.37 percentage till 1pm

The voting for the Delhi Elections on 70 seats are going on in full swing but the response this time till 1 pm was not adequate . Talking about the voter turnout, the picture is not very satisfactory as of now only 19.37 percentage voter turnout has been recorded.

Total 672 candidates are trying their luck in Delhi Elections and the security in the capital has been tightened seeing the buzz and ruckus that was going in Delhi from last two months.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
