A BJP woman named Munesh Godara was shot and killed by her husband, as he had doubt that her wife is having affair with someone else. The incident took place when woman got a call and she went into the kitchen to talk on the phone, her husband was totally drunk that time and when he saw her walking inside the kitchen with her phone. He shot her and she died on the spot.The woman was an active worker of the BJP and was an emerging leader of the BJP. Even during the elections, Munesh Godara was seen actively campaigning for the Bhartiya Janata Party.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
