Death Toll Mounts To 42 In Delhi Violence

Even as the violence in Delhi has been curbed down and police and para military forces has been working rigoursly to curb down violence in Delhi.

Still the death toll has risen to 42 and many injured have been undergoing treatment in various hospitals in Delhi.

The final death toll may rise as many injured are severely injured.  

According to reports coming in from police department the situation is now under control and steps are being taken to bring the situation under normalcy.

Yesterday after the visit of NSA Ajit Doval situation have come up to the track of normalcy and urgent need shops are being opened.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
