Protest In Unites Kingdom For Hindu Girl

In a latest development coming up from United Kingdom where members of Indian community are protesting outside the office of the United Nations.

According to the reports the people are protesting to seek justice for an Indian girl from Sind.  The girl is stated to first forcibly convert to Islam and later on married to an Muslim boy.

The girl's name is Mehek Kumari is stated to be a minor and is being abducted.  The girl's family belongs to Sind area in Pakistan.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
