Ramp of Platform Of Bhopal Railway Station Collapsed

A major mishap has taken place at the railway station of Bhopal the capital of Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday.  

Six people have been injured after the shed of the ramp coming down from the overbridge of platform number 2 and 3 of the railway station has collapsed. However no casualties have been reported so far.

The injured were admitted to the hospital.  During the incident after the mishap a stampede happened as there was a large number of people at the platform.  

More reports are awaited and investigations are going on to ascertain the exact cause of the incident.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
