Will Gopal Bhargava Become Chief Minister?

Former Minister and Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava, who was in the Shivraj government in Madhya Pradesh, has expressed his desire to become the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.  

Gopal Bhargava says that he wishes to become the Chief Minister of the state.  On Sunday, Gopal Bhargava while addressing a rally in Sagar said that if some MLAs join him, the Kamal Nath government will fall.  He has further said that as the Leader of Opposition, I am saying that when four or five MLAs go from here, no one will know and someone from your area can become the Chief Minister.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
