Reports coming in from Madhya Pradesh where BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan will take oath of office as chief minister of Madhya Pradesh at 7:00 p.m. today.

This is the first time in a consecutive row that BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan will be the CM of Madhya Pradesh.

As reported earlier after the resignation of present Chief Minister Kamal Nath when his party was not able to prove the majority. It was expected that BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan will be the next leader of the state soon.

Now it is the time to see how future Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will tackle the Coronavirus situation in the state.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
