Stay Order Executed In The Death Penalty Of Nirbhaya's Convicts

Latest reports are coming in from Nirbhaya's Convicts case of 2012.

According to latest sources the death sentence of the Nirbhaya's convicts have been stayed till further orders.

A Delhi court has deferred the death penalty of the Nirbhaya's convicts till further order as the mercy petition of one of the accused Pawan is still pending before the President.

Hence the execution of the four convicts have been stayed till further orders.

Asha Devi mother of Nirbhaya has said that," Why court is taking so much time to execute its own orders?  Repeated postponing of the execution of the culprits is showing the failure of our system.  It shows that our entire system is supporting the culprits."

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
