Yes Bank To Function As Normal From Today

Reports having coming in from Yes Bank where Yes bank will be resuming its normal work from today that is Wednesday from 6 p.m. onwards.

As reported earlier reserve Bank has imposed moratorium and restrictions were there for the functioning of Yes Bank.

Since many irregularities were found in the working of Yes Bank by its founder Rana who had initiated bad debts loans leading to crisis in Yes Bank management.

According to reports from Wednesday 6:00 p.m. is bank will return to the normal functioning and it has no no issues in liquidity.

According to Prashant Kumar there will be normal functioning in the operations of Yes Bank as there is no problem in the liquidity of cash in Yes Bank and ATMs are also full of cash.

The customers will enjoy all the services as they used to before moratorium.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
