Fifty New Corona Positives From Tamil Nadu Including 48 From Tablighi Jamaat

According to latest press release by Tamil Nadu health ministry 50 new patients has been recorded today in Tamilnadu leading the total numbers of Corona affected people to 621.

Of these 15 new patients covid-19, 48 patients are related to Tablighi Jamaat.

Out of these 621 patients of covid-19, around 570 people are related to Tablighi Jamaat returnees.

This health bulletin shared to the media by Tamil Nadu health secretary Beela Rajesh.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
