Many hotels and restaurants have closed down wearing a deserted look in this period of lockdown.  But the story of some hotels and restaurants are not same.

The Taj Hotel Mumbai nowadays is residing hospital staff, paramedical forces and officials who are serving in hospitals.  

When these people have to go in quarantine then it is Taj hotel which serves them food and rooms to facilitate them in this period.

Now same has happen in Nagpur as well.  Hair Hotel centre point provides food and rooms to medical staff who are treating covid-19 patients.

This hotel is providing pick and drop facility from the hospital to the staff to its hotel and facilitate them with food and stay.

This hotel has assigned 125 rooms to accommodate Corona fighters in them.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
