Hindu Migrant Refugees Urges To Let Them Fight Against Covid-19

According to reports coming in from Jodhpur a group of 300 Hindu migrant doctors have requested Government of India and state government to let them help medical forces in India to fight against the covid-19 pandemic.

This group of doctors Pakistani national who have been living in India with an MBBS degree from Pakistan but were not able to clear MCI test in India to allow them to practice here for want of Indian citizenship.

Now they have urged the government to let them be apart of the fight against covid-19 pandemic.

As per reports they have been staying in India as Hindu refugees who have MBBS degree from various universities of Pakistan and are living mostly in Jodhpur.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
