Favourable Conditions Will Have Onset Of Monsoon In India On Time i.e. June 01 2020 In Kerala

Reports have been coming in from Indian meteorological department where it is expected that the favourable conditions will onset monsoon as per schedule time.

According to a media briefing by Indian meteorological department under the influence of likely low-lying pressure formation over south east and East Central Arabian sea conditions have become very favourable for the onset of monsoon from June first in the Indian territories.

The onset of monsoon will start from June 1st 2020 from Kerala.  It is expected that this time monsoon will be of favourable condition in India and showers will be moderate.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
