Government Tenders Upto Rs 200 Crore won't Be Global Tenders

According to the press conference of Finance Minister Nirmala sitharaman in which the finance minister said that now now the projects of Government of India will have more partnership of Indian companies than of foreign investment.

This press conference the finance minister has retaliated that now any project and tenders of Government of India up to Rs 200 crore will not be a global project.

Now only Indian companies will be allowed to bid for that project.  And foreign investment will not be allowed to build in these project.

Only tenders which are above 200 crores will be opted under global economy.

This will directly help in benefiting Indian investors and companies who were before not eligible and opted out of these type of tenders.
