Two Politicians Shot Dead In Broad Daylight In UP

According to reports coming in Uttar Pradesh today witnessed a double murder in broad daylight.

As per sources coming in Samajwadi party local leader and his son shot dead in Sambhal district in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday morning.

According to reports Samajwadi leader Chhote Lal Diwakar and his son Sunil apparently had a dispute of laying the foundation stone of a road under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MANREGA).

The entire incident was even shot on camera.  Upon getting the information the superintendent of police Yamuna Prasad rushed to the spot to take note of the situation.  

Police have launched the man hunt to trace the assailants and nab the culprits.

However police have identified one accused as Savinder who is known as a local strongman.

All this happen under local Fatehpur Shamshoi village under Behjoi police station.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
