Cyclone Nisarga To Hit Maharashtra Tomorrow:- NDRF Teams Works In Full Swing

Cyclone Nisarga is likely to make landfall tomorrow in Maharashtra. 

As per the reports coming in it is expected the speed of wind is expected to be 100kmph. 

National Disaster Response Force Team will evacuating people from 13 villages and are preparing to carry out operation without breaking the social distancing norms.

Palghar, Pune, Thane, Mumbai Raigad Dhule, Nandurbar and Nashik were expected to receive heavy rainfall tomorrow.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
