Reports are coming in from district collector K.Veera Raghava Rao on Saturday, that for about 2 to 3 years green cover in arid district is expected to improve vastly at the Panchayati level. District is known as the dry region which is slowly witness silent green Revolution.
Reports are also coming in that each of the panchayat based on the type of soil the forest, department official will suggest what plants to be grown which included Gauva, sapota, vembu and various other plants .
Local workers will also provide job opportunities and also entrusted with the task of protecting plants from grazing by animals this will be under MANREGA programme
