Indian And Chinese Authorities To Meet Today

As reported earlier there have been ongoing tension between India and China over Ladakh issue.  

Even after many efforts by Indian government to solve the issue Chinese authority's have been persistently revolting against the same.

Today one such effort will be taken over in Ladakh.  In such effort military commanders of both the sides of India and China will be meeting in Moldo in Chinese side of the line of actual control (LAC).

This meeting will take place to discuss the dispute arising along the line of actual control in eastern Ladakh.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
