    Maharashtra To Release 11,000 More Prisoners Due To Covid-19

    State Health Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh has briefed media for covid-19 and has said that there are around 38000 prisoners in 60 days all together in the state of Maharashtra.

    Because of covid-19 pandemic around 9671 prisoners have been reduced from various jails in Maharashtra.

    The release of prisoners have been done to maintain social distancing in the jail's in the state.  

    Now Maharashtra government has decided to release 11000 more prisoners an emergency petrol.

    According to the Minister 31 temporary prisons hace been setup in 24 various districts of Maharashtra,
