Due to the activities being carried out by Nepal against India, the relationship between the two countries has started to worsen. Whereas Nepal has started spoiling its relations with India, on the contrary, people of Nepal are now opposing this decision of Nepal. Actually, a senior economist from Nepal, Dr. Posh Raj Pandey has opposed this move of Nepal. They say that Nepal should not spoil its relations with India. Given the way Nepal is dependent on India for all the essentials, Nepal should never think that India's second option could be China.
With this, he said that this step can have an huge impact on the economic situation as well. It depends on what kind of process India gives. Nepal is surrounded by India on three sides, if India retaliates it will affect Nepal's economy.
Recently Nepal had included some parts of Uttarakhand in its map. In its recently released map of Uttarakhand's Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura. Now India has opposed Nepal's decision and termed it as baseless.
