One Killed Two Injured In Firing Along Indo Nepal border In Bihar

Reports are coming in from Bihar that one person was killed and towards injured in firing on Friday allegedly by the Nepal police on the Indo-Nepal border in Sitamarhi district.


Reports are also coming in that the deceased person was Vikesh Kumar Rai , 25 and injured were Umesh Ram and Udit thakur.


Firing took place after a clash between some people working in their agriculture field at lalbandi Janki Nagar border in Pipra Parsain panchayat , where Rai died on the spot under the Sonebarsha police station of the district told by the locals 


Nepal shares a 1,850-km open border with India and people travel across for work and make family visits. Most of the Indians living in the bordering districts of Bihar are married on the other part of the border in Nepal.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
