Rs 99.5 Lacs Hawala Money seized in Mannady

Reports are coming in that Police seized ₹99.5 lakh which is expected to be hawala money from a man in Mannady on Saturday evening.

according to place they intersect at two wheeler right who was moving around flouting lockdown rules. As the man gave evasive replies to the police police check the vehicle and found bundles of cash. The rider of the vehicle was identified as Sahib, 35, of Mannadi. on reporting he told that a businessman had ask him to wait at Thayappa Mudali street.

He also cleaned that while waiting some an identified men approach to him and ask him to give the cash to a businessman. The cash will be handed over to the income tax department for investigation.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
