Source Of Infection Not Known In Nearly Half Of New Cases Reported In Delhi

Reports are coming from Delhi as coronavirus cases continue to mount in the National Capital, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that the infection is not known in nearly half of the fresh cases.


He also said that the government is making all preparation to handle huge rush of patient in the hospital. He also said that declaration will be made by the centre if Delhi has reached community transmission level as far as Coronavirus infection is concerned.


According to studies community transmission is the third stage of infection. Now Delhi is reporting new cases where nearly half of the cases the source of infection is not known.


Reports are also coming that Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that there is no community transmission of coronavirus in Delhi.


The national capital has record date 1,007 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday taking the total to over 29,000 mark with death toll of 874.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
