60 Packets Of Narcotics Seized By BSF

Reports have been coming in from Punjab where BSF have manage two seized major haul of heroine from a boat.

As per reports coming in at around 2:45 a.m. in the morning today a BSF boat party at Nangli Ghat seized around 60 packets of suspected narcotics or heroine tied with the rope.

The suspected 60 packets were found floating in Ravi river from Pakistan side to Indian side.

The BSF petrol party seized the suspected items and drag them to river bank.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
