108 Animals Died In Kaziranga National Park In Floods Till Date

Reports have been coming in from Kaziranga National Park where the flood like situation has now improved.

As per reports coming in from Kaziranga 80% of the area is still inundated.

According to the Kaziranga National Park Director in an interview given to ANI has stated that around 108 animals are reportedly have been dead till now.

However 136 animals have been rescued so far.

Nine Rhinos,  4 wild buffaloes, 7 wild Boars, two swamp deers, 82 hog deers have died in the flood related incidents.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
