Alarming Rise In The Cases Of Covid-19 In India

As per reports coming in there has been an alarming rise in the covid-19 cases in India.

Today covid-19 cases in the country has crossed 10 lakh numbers.  Now the recorded number of total covid-19 cases in India are 10,18,615.

Total number of deceased in the country are 29,791.

With active cases amounting to 3,47,342.

With Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi topping the list with most of the cases. India is on an alarming rise in covid-19 cases.

Despite all the efforts of Government of India and Ministry of Health affairs there is is no change in the current scenario.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
