Delhi LG Anil Baijal Visited Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre

Reports have been coming in from the national capital of India, Delhi.  In Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has visited a 10,000 bedded Sardar Patel covid care centre at Radha Soami Beas in Chhatarpur.

This covid care Centre is an ITDP agency operated.

Delhi has seen an widespread increase in the covid-19 cases in the past few days.  

While the total number of covid cases in Delhi reported so far are 97200.  With is 68326 cases have recovered so far.  Around 25927 cases are still active.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
