Heavy Rainfall And High Tide Expected In Next 3-4 Hours In Mumbai

Reports have been coming in from Indian meteorological Department which has confirmed high tide in the next three to four hours in Mumbai.

Indian meteorological Department has also suggested that there will be heavy to intense rainfall in 2 to 3 hours in Maharashtra.

The high tide in Mumbai is also expected to continue till late evening and people of Mumbai have been alerted to stay indoors in the low lying areas.

Right now heavy rainfall is continuing in Hindmata area.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
