Gosi River Bridge Collapsed In Uttarakhand Due To Heavy Rainfall

Uttrakhand has been receiving very heavy rainfall from the past few days and reports of landslides and floods have been coming up.

Recent report has been coming from Uttarakhand's district Pithoragarh where a part of bridge collapse in Gosi river.

And Bangapani Tehsil and Pithoragarh area has been receiving extremely heavy rainfall from the past few days.  And this heavy rainfall has led to the collapse of a bridge which was connecting these two areas with each other.

Thousands of families have been affected by the collapse of this Bridge in Gosi river.  And movement of people have been halted in this route.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
