Heavy Rainfall Is Expected In Mumbai In Next Six Hours

Reports have been coming in from Mumbai Maharashtra where the city is experiencing heavy to very heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours.

Indian Meteorological Department has stated that heavy rainfall is stated to be continuing for 6 hours more and is expected continue today till evening.

Rail traffic has been interrupted at many places in Colaba and Bandra Kurla complex area and Worli station where the places have reported more than 10 cm of rainfall.

Next 6 hours in Mumbai is very crucial as very heavy rainfall is expected

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
