Dr Harshvardhan Sets Vision For 2050

Reports are coming from Union Health Minister Harshvardhan says that FSSAI and Food Technology related laboratories within the domain of CSIR should work together to fulfill vision 2050. 


In this mission he says that to achieve health for all , then government must  motivate people to engage in physical activities and consume "saatvik" food. 


According to the reports coming in, if in few years food produced in Palampur ,Mysore, Lucknow ,Mohali laboratory's reaches masses then it would be beneficial for India's economy and health.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
