Eid Celebrated With Full Enthusiasm Maintaining Covid-19 Norms

Reports have been coming in from various parts of the country of devotees of Muslim community offering prayers on Eid Ul Adha.

From Delhi Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi offer prayer at his residence in order to maintain social norms in covid-19 pandemic.

Reports have also been coming in from Fatehpuri, Delhi where devotees have offered prayers on the occasion of Eid.

People from across the National Capital of the country Delhi came up in large number maintaining social distancing and temperature check due to covid in jama masjid to offer prayers on Eid.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
