Heavy Rainfall In Mumbai


Reports are coming from Maharashtra that water logging in Mumbai lower Parel following incessant rainfall in the area. 

Reports are also coming that Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation had advised people not to go near beaches and other low lying areas as high tide of 4.51 is expected in Mumbai at 12:47 p.m. today. 

These are some visuals from Parel East and in these visuals we can see severe water logging in various parts of Mumbai following incessant rainfall in the City. 

According to the reports coming from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation in more than 230 mm of rainfall recorded in Mumbai city in last 10 hours. 

Reports are also coming that Central line running slowly. Rail traffic on harbour line stop between Kurla-CSMT. Also traffic on all four lines stopped due to heavy rainfall. 

According to the reports coming from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation that BEST bus services diverted on at least eight routes in various parts of Mumbai city and suburbs. 

according to the reports coming that Western line completely stop and harbour line stop between Kurla and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus . Central line is running with slow speed. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has also appealed to all offices and other establishments to remain closed today accept emergency services in view of heavy rainfall forecast. 


According to the reports coming in due to heavy rainfall overnight Western express Highway blocked at Makar.
