Indian Nationals In Japan To Be Brought Back To India By Vande Bharat Mission

Reports have been coming in from Japan where Indian nationals were stranded after the outspread of covid-19.

The Government of India have been bringing back Indian nationals from various countries regularly by their Vande Bharat Mission flights.  

Reports have been coming in from Japan where passengers have started arriving at Narita Airport for the special Air India flight for repatriation of stranded Indian nationals from Japan under the 5th phase of Vande Bharat Mission.

These flights have been arranged by Embassy of India in Japan.  The stranded passengers have been helping out by the Embassy to return back to India.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
