MP Home Minister Says NEET And JEE Exam Are Not School Exams

As per reports coming in we have seen before also there have been widespread demand by various governments of States for not taking NEET and JEE exam by the government. 

Government of Maharashtra has also asked to cancel those exams because of this ongoing covid situation.

Now Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has given a public statement regarding these exams and have said that NEET & JEE examinations are not examinations of class third or fourth. 

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra also added that, "People passing these examinations contribute to nation-building. These examinations are essential.  Therefore, this should not be made an issue."

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
