Record Breaking 9 Lakh Testing Of COVID-19 Done In Past 24 Hours

As per reports coming in from Ministry of Health and Family welfare Government of India there has been a widespread testing of covid-19 in the past 24 hours.

As there has been reported large number of cases covid-19 the countries testing for the disease have also increased rapidly.

Now the Ministry of Health and Family welfare have released a statement that in this widespread testing of covid-19 around 9 lakh test have been done in the past 24 hours.

The 9 lakh test which has been done in the last 24 hours of covid-19 is a record in itself as India as one of the first countries to do such a large number of covid-19 testing.

Even big countries like America, Britain and France has surrendered themselves to the fate of covid-19.  But India is a country which is still fighting against the spread of covid-19.

Be it maintaining social distancing or lockdown India has done its part and Indian government has proved that India would not surrender against the spread of covid-19.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
