India Bans 118 Chinese Apps Including Pubg The Famous Gaming App

As per reports coming in an unprecedented move the Government of India has banned 118 more Chinese mobile applications.

The Chinese mobile applications which are banned includes one of the most popular game of China which is is popular Pubg, WeChat work and WeChat reading.

This move of Government of India has come as a solid slap on the face of Chinese government which have again started interfering in line of actual control.

Previously, the government has banned 59 popular apps of China which included tik tok, CamScanner and UC browser.

The list of banned Chinese apps are as follows:-

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
