    Press Briefing By Ministry Of External Affairs

    Reports have been coming in Press briefing by Ministry Of External Affairs where Anurag Shrivastava has said that India always want to and will maintain cordial relations with the neighbouring countries.

    ANI has quoted him that however we are not willing to take any advances by any country. 

    He retariated that during Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's SCO visit to Russia, he will meet Russian Defence Minister to discuss bilateral defence issues. Regarding the other meeting (with the Chinese counterpart), I have no information.

    The Ministry is also in touch with Pakistan through diplomatic channels with regard to the release of Kulbhushan Jadhav.  The government is taking all possible steps to ensure his safety.
