Wholesale Index Rate In The Country Lowers In August As Compared To July

Reports have been coming in from Ministry of Commerce and Industry which has stated that the inflation rate as compared to July in August has been a little lower.

As per reports coming in the provisional inflation rate based on Wholesale Price Index (WPI) for August, 2020 stood at 0.16 % as compared to (-) 0.58 % in the month of July, 2020.

The price of commodity has been ha little lower in the month of August as compared to July.

This index however the difference is low but will give strength and little boom to the economy as compared to July.  

There have been unlock 4 going on and on a comparative note all the services as compared to July has been opened.  

The services which has been opened in this season includes railways, metro, gyms, yoga classes, part of schools and colleges on the trial basis.

However the inflation rate has been continuously increasing on yearly pattern every year in the country. India inflation rate for 2019 was 7.66%, a 2.8% increase from 2018. 

India inflation rate for 2018 was 4.86%, a 2.37% increase from 2017. India inflation rate for 2017 was 2.49%, a 2.45% decline from 2016. India inflation rate for 2016 was 4.94%, a 0.93% decline from 2015.
